I know folks from Texas, Memphis and Kansas City might disagree, but I personally think Whitt's is the best barbecue around. It helps that it's the kind of barbecue I grew up eating. Go on Wednesday nights - You can get pork sandwiches for $1.85 (regularly $2.85) or get a family back for $9. Family packs come with an 8 pack of buns, a tub of barbecue, and one huge serving of either beans, cole slaw or potato salad. My husband and I will get the family pack and eat it for dinner two nights in a row. Also, the banana pudding is some of the best I've had!

One of my top BBQ choices in the southeast. Great BBQ, friendly service, and great tea. Every time I drive through or to Nashville I make a point to go out of my way to eat here. They also have an excellent half price sandwich special on Wednesdays, amazing value, just difficult to only eat one. Much support to this establishment and their superior BBQ making skills! Making me want a sandwich just writing this review.....

Alright, Ive ate their beef and turkey sandwiches for awhile and they were pretty good. But the owner finally convinced me to try the ribs and I wasnt sure because Ive never liked any restaurants ribs because they always put so much sauce on them you cant taste the meat. But he said the dont put any sauce on theirs, so I gave it a shot. I must say, they are the best ribs Ive ever ate! will definitely get them again!

I love Whitts. Super duper cheap, friendly workers, and great BBQ. Go on Wednesday's, they have specials on the sandwiches. They also do catering and big orders, just call ahead & don't forget to tip! Also know that this particular Whitts is a drive thru and walk up only. Tip: go to bobbies across the street, eat, then get a chocolate dipped ice cream! Best summer munchies.

I just got back from 7 weeks in Ecuador, where believe it or not the food tastes like absolutely nothing, and when I walked off of the plane I bought two pork BBQ sanduches (espanol) and my experience eating them could be compared to a religious moment or maybe seeing your new born baby for the first time. I may have actually shed a tear. I know they say all the local places blah blah blah, this may be a chain, but they are reliable, Whitt's has never let me down.
